This exceptional Antique Welsh oak dresser has a small neat cornice with a shaped frieze below, on top of intricately shaped sides. The base has an overhanging moulded-edge top that sits upon three slim drawers and a shaped apron. The whole is raised on boldly turned legs (with, unusually, one turned and one square back leg), united by a potboard.

Antique Oak Welsh dresser from either the Carmarthenshire or Cardiganshire area, circa 1760. The rack has a very neat cornice above three shelves with a central support to maintain stability.
The base has two rows of slim drawers above an intricate fretted apron, this is finished off nicely with a central ogee shaping and cock-beading running along the full length. The whole dresser is raised upon four turned legs supported by a potboard base.

Antique Welsh oak dresser from Caernarfonshire, circa 1820. It has a bold cornice above a stepped open rack terminating in shaped shoes. The base is breakfronted and has a row of three drawers with cockbeaded edging, turned wooden knobs and bone escutcheons. Below the drawers are a row of three dummy drawers, also with cockbeaded edging and which are framed by intricate rosewood turned columns. These are flanked by two well proportioned flat-panelled cupboard doors. The whole is raised on four front applied braket feet.

Antique Oak dresser from Montgomeryshire, circa 1780. The open rack has a slim cornice with an attractive tooth edging and the base has three drawers with cock-beaded decoration and wooden handles. These lie above a triple ogee shaped apron, also with cock-beading along the whole length. All is raised on four elegant turned front legs, supported by a framed potboard, and finished with bracket feet.

Antique Welsh oak dresser from Carmarthenshire, circa 1790. The open rack has a shaped top frieze and nicely shaped sides to the shelves.
The base has a row of three drawers with an intricately shaped apron. The whole is supported on turned legs which are framed by a boarded potboard base.

Antique Dresser from South Wales, circa 1710. It has an open-backed rack with a neat cornice and shaped frieze below. The rack sits upon a raised section on the base, enclosed either side with deeply shaped shoes, and also incorporating a row of four spice drawers, each having a shaped divider between them.
The base of the dresser has a row of two drawers, each has two raised and fielded panels, giving the impression that there are four drawers in total, with a deeply shaped apron below.
The dresser is supported on three very elegantly turned front legs which end in bun feet, all supporting a potboard base.

Antique Welsh oak dresser of small proportions from West Wales, circa 1770.
This particular dresser has a wonderful colour and patination. Its open rack has oak backboards and wrought iron hooks and the base has a row of three drawers which sit above a boldly shaped apron.
The whole is raised on square chamfered legs and united by a potboard.

Antique Welsh dresser base from North Wales, circa 1740. With its substantial proportions this is a particularly useful piece for both storage and display. At the top of the base are three drawers with raised and fielded panels. These lie above two double horizontal raised and fielded panelled doors with a slim vertical raised and fielded panel separating them. The whole piece is supported upon four stile feet.

Welsh oak dresser base with inlaid mahogany and stringing embellishments, the three cock-beaded drawers flanked by two real drawers, raised on finely-turned legs with sunburst corner spandrels, united by a potboard, with turned feet.
