A well-proportioned oak armchair from Glamorganshire, circa 1780.
The chair has a panelled back with a raised and ogee shaped fielded panel, and behind the back are the initials RW and RI.
It has two slim arms and a neat overhanging seat, with a shaped front apron and ogee shaped side aprons.
The whole is raised on four beaded legs united with stretchers.
