Important SELLING EXHIBITION

at Richard Bebb's Castle Mill Showrooms

There are over 30 dressers in our showrooms, all of which are available to purchase.
They are shown both individually and in room settings.

The Exhibition, which is being held at our Kidwelly premises, will feature a large number of exceptional dressers, including an early 18th century example with a shaped rack and open potboard from a farmhouse in the Towy valley (shown above) and a number from the later part of the century from other districts of similar design. We are particularly delighted to show the dresser owned by Sir Kyffin Williams, a typical Caernarfonshire style with the solid appearance found in the north.

Richard Bebb, author of Welsh Furniture 1250-1950 will be available throughout the Exhibition to give guided tours and explain the different forms which this instantly recognizable piece of Welsh furniture took over the generations and the context in which it was produced and used.

During the Exhibition we will be open each day from 10am-5pm (except Sundays and Mondays which will be by prior arrangement). Thereafter we will be open each day by prior arrangement only (without obligation).
