Welsh oak bureau cabinet from Montgomeryshire, circa 1780.
The cornice has a multitude of decoration, including Greek key and reeding. Below this are two doors with four raised and fielded panels enclosing an interior with three shelves.
The base has a fall-front with cleated ends, enclosing a sycamore fitted interior. The base consists of four rows of drawers and the whole sits upon a plinth ending in shaped bracket feet.
